To talk shop for a minute, if you stream it and you like it, we ask that you buy a copy. It’s available on Bandcamp as a digital download, or if you buy one of our limited edition cassettes or pieces of Adam Lalák’s original concept art, you’ll also receive a digital copy.
It costs money to make, and we want to make more, so please put your hand in your pocket.
Eyes Up! Moonwards is the first track on our upcoming EP ‘Earth Hum’ and we’ve made a short video to go with it.

The band all have a role in the video, but special thanks to Orani, Maeve and Worldwide Welshman Liam Rickard for stepping in and supporting us, and of course to Rafi for filming.
Our pal Rafi Uddin filmed us playing our modern day shanty ‘Fish of the Sea’ on the Golden Hinde last week. Here’s the result, mixed with some time tipe-lapse photography from producer and unofficial sixth member Nicholas O’Brien.

We’re delighted to be supporting bluegrass band Old Salt, who we met at a folk festival in Brno, on the London leg of their UK tour. They won the “European World of Bluegrass” award for 2017, and this will be their first time playing in the UK.
The first night will be on February 15 in Biddle Brothers in Hackney, and will be free entry. The night is run by the excellent Sad House Daddy, and we will be joined by Worldwide Welshman and Géronimo Chapeau. Details here.

We’re delighted to announce ‘Earth Hum’: our first studio EP, recorded and produced by our new label Upcycled Sounds.
It contains four songs: two brand new and two upcycled versions of our older songs.
The EP will be out on all digital platforms on 6 April 2018.

Joe spent a week in Paris in December, working on a collaborative alt-folk EP with Upcycled Sounds.
The EP will consist of 4 traditional songs and tunes from around the world, reworked by 9 jazz, folk and electronic musicians, and should materialise later this year.
The musicians were Hannah Jakes on keys and accordion, Lauren Spicely on fiddle, Jack Ó hAonghusa on flute, Rémi Allain on double bass, Phil Biood on drums, Martha Wiltshire on cello, Dan on guitars and Nikó O’Brien producing.
Last Wednesday Anna, Joe and Will played an unplugged set in The Star by Hackney Down as part of Starry Starry Nights. Nick Crispin was kind enough to film it.
We’ve just got back from a weekend in a studio in Oxford, recording our first studio EP with Nikó from Upcycled Sounds. We’re calling it ‘Earth Hum’, and it will be out in in the first half of 2018.
