Joe played a couple of solo shows in Toulouse and Bordeaux as part of the British Embassy in Paris’ Les Voisins project – pop up events in various French cities showcasing British culture.


Joe is featured on the new EP ‘Mais c’est quoi maman?’, recorded over a week in Paris last year with 9 musicians from around the world. He sings and plays guitar on Track 1, a little backing guitar on track 2, and electric guitar on track 4.

‘Earth Hum’ Launch

Thanks to all who made our launch on April 18 such a special night, and to labelmates Rosie Caldecott, Zander Sharp and Jack Durtnall for support.

We will next be appearing in Oxford for Upcycled Sound’s official launch on May 10, then Tandem Festival on Friday June 22.


‘Earth Hum’ Release

‘Earth Hum’, our first studio EP,  is officially released today!

It’s available to stream for free on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music.

To talk shop for a minute, if you stream it and you like it, we ask that you buy a copy. It’s available on Bandcamp as a digital download, or if you buy one of our limited edition cassettes or pieces of Adam Lalák’s original concept art, you’ll also  receive a digital copy.

It costs money to make, and we want to make more, so please put your hand in your pocket.



Moonwards Video

Eyes Up! Moonwards is the first track on our upcoming EP ‘Earth Hum’ and we’ve made a short video to go with it.

If you preorder Earth Hum here, you get can get this track right away, with the rest following on April 4.

The band all have a role in the video, but special thanks to Orani, Maeve and Worldwide Welshman Liam Rickard for stepping in and supporting us, and of course to Rafi for filming.

Old Salt Tour

Golden Hinde

We’re delighted to be supporting bluegrass band Old Salt, who we met at a folk festival in Brno, on the London leg of their UK tour. They won the “European World of Bluegrass” award for 2017, and this will be their first time playing in the UK.

The first night will be on February 15 in Biddle Brothers in Hackney, and will be free entry. The night is run by the excellent Sad House Daddy, and we will be joined by Worldwide Welshman and Géronimo Chapeau. Details here.
